What services does Education Way offer?

We are an exchange agency that goes "above and beyond", because we truly care. In addition to providing premium consultancy to help you realize your dream of exchanging in Australia, we offer full support throughout the exchange, internal visa department for greater agility in processes, assistance with mandatory health insurance (OSHC), materials exclusive services, document translation sector, workshops, excursions and events, 485 visa application support and internal immigration agent. To find more information about our services, visit Services: what do we do?

How long is the visa?

The duration of your exchange will depend on the course you choose to take. For English, the minimum is generally 16 weeks (4 months with 1 month of vacation) and if you want to go as a couple, we recommend starting at 24 weeks (6 months with up to 2 months of vacation). If you want to undertake another course, such as VET, master's degree, doctorate, etc., the duration of your visa will be equivalent to the duration of the course   vacation period.

Can you work during the exchange?

On a student visa, you have the right to work legally for up to 48 hours per fortnight. Work is not guaranteed, but here at Education Way we have several partners who post vacancies daily and who do not need advanced English! We always help our students to get jobs in Australia, in addition to helping with documentation, opening a bank account and free Workshops that we hold throughout the year, in our offices, with partner schools or online.

How much does it cost to go on exchange to Australia?

The value of your study exchange will depend on the course, city and institution you choose. The duration of English courses varies depending on the number of weeks chosen, for example, and some courses or institutions have different prices between Australian cities. To plan, it is essential to have financial planning and we can help you with that.

Do you help with accommodation for the exchange?

Yes! Our team offers comprehensive support, and we have partnerships with companies that offer different types of accommodation (student, homestay, etc.). Additionally, we can also help with lots of information about websites and resources for finding a place to call your own in Australia.

How does Education Way support work?

We have a sector focused on offering support to our students, as we know how many questions and difficulties may arise when arriving in Australia. Before boarding, we send you exclusive material with guidance so you are well prepared for your trip. Upon arrival, we open your Australian bank account, obtain the necessary documentation for work, carry out a Welcome Session with several tips and you receive a personalized Welcome Kit.

Can I renew my visa and stay longer in Australia?

There is the possibility of renewing your visa, and for this it is essential to plan when you are already on Australian soil. We recommend that you contact our team 90 days before your visa expires so we can plan your renewal. To do this, let's talk again about your history in Brazil, Australia and your personal and professional goals. This way, we will find the course and institution that are aligned with what you are looking for in this new phase, we will organize the documentation (simpler process as we will already have most of the documents gathered) and we will apply the new visa.

How does the exchange for couples work?

The couple's exchange in Australia works like this: a main applicant chooses the course and duration of the exchange (with permission to work for 48 hours per fortnight), and the dependent can also study (for up to 3 months) and work (following the hour limit, unless the main student is pursuing a master's degree, master's degree by research or doctorate). Some requirements are: marriage or stable union certificate, housing contract in both names or accounts of both at the same address; joint bank account; social proof such as photos together and with friends/family posted on social media.

Is it possible to take your children on exchange?

A family exchange is similar to that of a couple, in which a main applicant chooses a period of weeks to study (permission to work 48 hours a fortnight), and a dependent can also study (for up to 3 months) and work (following the limit hours, unless the main student pursues a master's degree, master's degree by research or doctorate). Children up to the age of 17 may be visa dependent, and during this period, in Australia, it is mandatory that they are enrolled in the Australian education system and studying. We offer an excellent Master's program in Perth, an expanding Australian city that offers quality of life, security and opportunities for families.
